- Don’t drink at all if you’re driving – you can’t calculate your alcohol limit, so don’t even try
- Nominate a ‘driver’, chip in and buy their soft drinks all night in return for getting you home safely
- Think ahead and plan your journey home by booking a taxi in advance or arranging to stay overnight
- Don’t be tempted to take the car or get in to a car with anyone you suspect has been drinking
